Sir,
CO 14023

Government House,
Hongkong, 3rd. April, 1911.
I have the honour to enquire
whether the status of members of the Colonial Audit Depart-
-ment has been defined with regard to participation in funds
or schemes to provide pensions for widows and orphans of
deceased Colonial Officials.
2.
If the question has not already
been decided I venture to request that it may now be consider
-ed with a view to determining whether the members of the
Department locally employed should be admitted to the pri-
-vileges of contribution under the Widows and Orphans Pension
Ordinance, 1908.
